193945 > 1.18.09 - PEEK-A-BOO... So this is the second photo for the day. Jackson had just thrown up some "cookies" and I needed a cloth. Kellie was on the other side of the backdrop. I asked for a cloth and over the backdrop came a cloth and landed exactly on Jackson as the picture documents. I actually REALLY love this picture :) Life doesn't always turn out the way we think, hugh? I think pictures should document not just the images that we want / wish people to see...but also what really happened and how things really are :) Life is not a photo shoot...life is a burp cloth drapped over one's face. Take care and happing living...burp cloth and all!!!
193945 > 01.17.09 - Hi-ya... Annaleigh breaking a board at TKD class. She has done so good with TKD. She has struggled a bit with board breaking (certain kicks). It's a real challenge. One of the reasons I like TKD...you have to overcome challenges like these (physical & mental). Annaleigh is testing in a couple weekends from now and has to do one of the kicks she has had a hard time with. GO SIS...YOU CAN DO IT!!! Dad
193945 > 1.8.09 - WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS... Well, not really, but we should have been!!! We have an annual chili contest at work. We have a blast, talk a BUNCH of smack, get to try a bunch of good chili and have a great time of fellowship. This year, long story, I named my entry LandersLicious Lip Smackin' Chili in honor of Dave Landers (pictured with me). One of my fellow employees (JennyB), hand made us aprons, hats and custom embroidered them and everything. Can you believe it? 193945 > 1.3.09 - CABOOSE... This image it taken from the back end of a train caboose that's parked off of 2nd Ave South in Franklin (down by all of the antique stores). I really like taking shots like these...color, contrast, texture, abstract, etc.
193945 > 1.1.09 - TWINS... We started calling Jackson & Clara "twins." Can you tell why? Check out Jackson's eyes!!! He opens them up like that often and it cracks us all up :)
